Ok so, you know the whole thing about Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace in 3D? I am here to give my 'invalid' opinion.
First off, I know I am late since everyone has already given their pre-opinions, and now are in the process of giving their post-opinions. Meaning that they have seen the movie already.
To be honest, I have never seen a movie in 3D, which is why my opinion is invalid. But enough of this, let's get to it.
Even though I have never had the urge to see a movie in 3D(I think it's a cool idea, but it's mostly a money squeezer for film makers), this actually intrigues me. Quite a bit.
I just don't want to be disappointed. If it's just a fancy looking version, then well, psh, forget it.
If they included the extended Podracing sequence and some of the other deleted scenes, then it would be worth is just to see that version in the theater.
Ok, so my picture uploader isn't working, so you can't see a promotional poster picture for the film, but it's cool. It has Darth Maul wearing 3D Glasses and all the required names of the cast, producers, blah blah blah.
On to another point, about my opinion on 3D versions in general. Personally, as an old fashioned kind of guy, I don't think 3D is really necessary. Sure, it's probably really cool, and adds a new element to the story that you've never seen before, but is it really that good? I really don't want to see Jar Jar Binks's tongue sticking out of the screen at my face...please no.
Ok, I'm out of time here, so let me know what you think in the comments below please!
