I noticed it seemed to be a fairly new feature to be common in devices and I really liked the idea.
When I got my Asus tablet a few months ago, I was ecstatic to discover that I too had this feature.
Needless to say, I shot QUITE a few panoramic views and probably annoyed my family with such phrases as "Hold still! Don't ruin the shot, it's almost done!"....
Yeah...at least I haven't had the urge lately.
Here is a panoramic view I shot just a few weeks ago. I'm still getting the hang of it...
As you can see, there are some discrepancies, but only because I didn't hold the tablet right and I also moved too fast...that's a common error. That's also the reason why it isn't a complete pan' view... NEVER MOVE TOO FAST. Be patient and keep a steady hand....I'm still working on a swivel stand for this so I can effectively take a picture of our office building lobby for promotion...gah.
In case you are wondering, YES, this is my room. It was in complete shambles that night...I'm mortified...but I couldn't find my shot of the highway with all the colorful leaves and trees...gravel...speeding semis...police lights...all that good stuff.
